Hi, I am Bill Coen, owner of Alpha to Omega Tax Services in Irmo, SC. It seems that the biggest topic on everybody's minds is the cost of living. Prices keep going up, and income sometimes goes down. Cuts in hours, reduction in overtime, sometimes even complete job loss. We are living in unstable times and sometimes the only thing we can count on is that “things will change”. Unfortunately it is not always for the better.
After Tax Season was over this year, I started to look into ways to reduce everyday expenses. It seemed like I had found the ideal program to save money on gas and food. I checked it out myself and everything was excellent. The only problem was that it was too good. Very soon the demand was greater than the supply and the company could not keep up and shut down the program. What now ? I had even committed to a 6 month advertising program to promote this. Fortunately this happened before the ads went to press, so I was able to avoid being accused of false advertising, but what could I use this ad space for now ?
It seemed that all of my research had resulted in nothing but a bunch of files on my computer. But wait ... I can share this information with others (and get it organized at the same time). Some of this stuff is free, and some of this stuff is only a free listing of something that could benefit you if you purchase it. This is and will be a “work in progress” as I sift through the information I already have, and find more things on a regular basis.
